GREAT NEWS: Successful Media Pitch
Audrey Magazine is publishing a 2 page article written by ImanusT's executive director! Take a look at her exciting e-mail below.
Ann,
Thanks for your email. Congratulations on starting your own nonprofit, especially something like this to help those affected by large-scale disasters. We really admire your efforts and wish you much success with ImanusT. To help, we thought it would be great to have you write a My Story about starting your nonprofit. My Story is an opportunity for readers and others to write about a personal experience that has brought change either personally or to society in general. It's usually an inspirational piece, and it sounds like your story would fit perfectly. I think our readers would be able to relate to your personal story about how the Asian tsunami, 9-11 or other disasters have affected you and your family, to the point where you felt the need to go the extra mile and ask your friends and family to help. The focus should be on this aspect, with starting the nonprofit as a secondary aspect. The only reason why I say this is because we recently ran a feature story on nonprofit! The piece should be between 800-1,000 words and we would need it by end of next week. Does this sound interesting to you? Please let me know as soon as you can.
Thanks,
