Dear Friends and Family,
This letter contains my expression of compassion and what I have done to make our world a better place. Amidst my busy schedule as a full-time graduate student, I am proud to announce that I have launched a non-profit organization.
It all began with a simple letter requesting donations for the Asian tsunami disaster. The astounding response and support from my friends and family inspired me to start something that would continue to bridge the gap between those who are in need and those willing to donate. After much research, thought, and deliberation I developed a crisis reversal corporation, ImanusT (hence, the name ImanusT is tsunami spelled in reverse).
ImanusT's mission is to alleviate suffering after a crisis is no longer in the public limelight by fundraising pre-crisis, providing post-crisis donations and increasing public awareness through media outreach.
Targeted crises include those in which entire communities, populations, or cities have been affected. Examples include the 9/11 attacks, AIDS epidemic, and tsunami disaster.
Fortunately, media coverage provides awareness nationwide and emphasizes the importance of donating. However, emergency giving is unpredictable and rarely in proportion to relative need. People cannot wait for a crisis to happen before raising funds to restore a sense of ordinary life in the wake of disaster. In addition, once the media stops covering these stories, funds begin to diminish, crisis victims begin to lose hope and endure effects of fading donations.
This is when we can make a difference...
For your convenience, ImanusT has different membership types and donation options. Whether you can only donate once or on an annual or monthly basis, ImanusT can customize a membership to fit your donating capacity. ImanusT understands the difficulty in trying to match what you want to donate with what you can. That is why ImanusT welcomes and recognizes the value of any amount donated.
